CV resumido
Dr Ana Pereira Rodríguez is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Philology and Translation (Universidade de Vigo, Spain), where she teaches at the graduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. She coordinated the BA in Translation Studies (2012-2022) as well as the MA in Multimedia Translation (2016-2020), and she currently coordinates the PhD programme in Communication (2022-2025).
For over twenty years, her research has focused on the comparative study of English and Spanish genre and register within Systemic Functional Linguistics, Children’s Literature Translation, and Screen Translation, particularly, accessibility. She has several publications in each of these fields and has taken part in research projects funded by both Spanish and European institutions.
